Find your purpose

My Story: A Journey of Purpose and Self-Discovery

Life has taken me on unexpected paths, teaching me the importance of self-discovery and purpose. As a child in Georgia, I could never have imagined how far my journey would take me—both physically and spiritually. I was always a curious soul, rebelling against systems that felt confining. I didn’t enjoy school and preferred the freedom of climbing trees, spending time with friends, and immersing myself in music, especially reggae. Life is a journey from childhood to childhood. I am still in the process of discovering my purpose, and the most exciting part is that just when you feel like you are getting closer, something new reveals itself. I would say that I am beginning to sense my purpose—it’s about serving others, making them feel loved, and bringing people together. Cooking is one of the ways I express that.

I grew up between two different families, and on my father’s side, food was always a central element. My grandma would prepare delicious meals, and friends of my dad and grandfather would often join us, turning each gathering into a celebration. Those memories planted the seed for my love of cooking and connection. As I mentioned, I am still on this journey of self-discovery, but I feel deeply aligned when I cook for others, share my food as medicine, and provide grounding, supportive spaces for people to come together. I truly believe that food is medicine. It carries healing properties that can restore your energy, shift your frequency, and enhance your health and well-being.

Growing up without my father shaped much of my early life. He left when I was three, and I didn’t meet him again until I was 18, but now I understand that it was the best decision he could have ever made—for himself and for me. Remember, our life exists in our hands, and only you can decide what your future will look like. You are the creator of your own life. Meeting him was surreal—it felt like encountering both a father and a stranger at the same time. Years later, when I became a mother at 21, I experienced a similar feeling with my son. Although I had carried him for nine months, holding him in my arms for the first time felt strangely unfamiliar. He is a gift from God.

Between the ages of 22 and 25, life challenged me in profound ways. I found myself in a controlling, abusive relationship that left emotional scars. Yet, those difficult years became my greatest teachers. They taught me what kind of person I didn’t want to be and how important it is to live with kindness and integrity. This experience also taught me that as humans, we carry pain, grief, and sadness in our physical bodies. To move forward, we need to release these emotions, creating space for new beginnings.

At 26, I moved to New York, hoping for a fresh start. Though I had everything—family, friends, a business, and financial stability—something still felt incomplete. After speaking with my mom, who encouraged me to follow my heart, I bought a ticket to New York, trusting that life would guide me where I needed to go. This journey eventually led me to Los Angeles, where I continued searching for a sense of peace and purpose.

A Transformative Encounter with Native Spirituality

One of the most significant moments in my life came when I was adopted by Chief Delbert Blackfox during a ceremony in the desert. For a girl from Georgia, this was beyond anything I could have imagined—being welcomed so deeply into Native culture and spirit.

Since childhood, I had been drawn to stories of ancient cultures, including Native American and Egyptian histories, without fully understanding the connection. At 15, I spent my savings on my first tattoo: an eagle feather. In many Native cultures, the eagle is revered as a holy bird that travels between dimensions, symbolizing strength and spiritual connection. Unconsciously, I was already aligned with Native spirituality. Fourteen years later, being adopted by a chief felt like a moment of destiny—a turning point that deepened my belief in myself and my journey.

Introducing the Course: Finding Your Purpose

This course is the culmination of my personal journey—a transformative experience that will guide you in discovering your own purpose in life. In this process, you’ll learn to let go of limiting beliefs, release emotional burdens, and reconnect with your true self.

The second part of the course will focus on letting go—learning to sit with your emotions and face them fully. In a world full of distractions—social media, entertainment, and endless noise—we often run from our deepest feelings. But real transformation happens when we give ourselves the space to sit quietly and allow our emotions to surface. It takes courage to confront the most hidden parts of ourselves, but it is essential for personal growth.

Through reflective exercises and tools, I’ll guide you toward self-discovery, helping you explore what brings meaning to your life. We will work with the Ikigai framework—a Japanese concept that integrates what you love, what the world needs, what you’re good at, and what you can be paid for. Together, we’ll map out your mission, passion, vocation, and profession, unlocking your unique path in life.

This is just the beginning—buckle up and get ready for a journey of growth and transformation. Life is full of twists and turns, but one thing I know for sure: an open heart will always guide you to where you are meant to be.
